I bought the 'excellent' condition graded laptop. There are a few minor defects on the screen and keyboard, which I did not expect from an 'excellent' laptop. The biggest difficulty however was that the software came in the Arabic language. It took us 4 hours to change the software into English, with help of the camera function on google translate. Not only the written text was in Arabic, also the keyboard. Therefore it was almost impossible to get through the set up. If I knew this before, I would not have bought the laptop. I was initially sceptical about how this Surface Laptop would come due to the vast amount of negative reviews it had received from people complaining about poor quality. Knowing I could return the laptop for free should the condition be subpar is what gave me the confidence to give me a chance. It arrived the next day in a protective inflated bubblewrap sleeve and with a guide on how to set it up - along with the genuine Microsoft 65W magnetic Surface Charger. The laptop was in pristine condition, with not a single scratch on the lid (even the polished Microsoft logo was free from scratches). The touchscreen was free from any fingerprints and not a single scratch was present. The Alcantara on the keyboard/palm rest was pristine considering the laptop originally came out in 2019 and my model was purchased in 2020. The facial recognition worked, the keyboard was responsive with no visible wear (such as shiny keys), the KB backlight worked, the touchpad was large and clicky with no wear either, and the ports had no excessive wear around the edges, indicating they had been used (as with any 4-5-year-old laptop) but in no way excessively. It came with a licensed version of Windows 10 Professional but Windows update offered me a free upgrade to Windows 11 Professional which took a few hours to download and install but performance is very rapid for web browsing and document typing. The display is bright and the speakers are very loud but don't distort. The laptop does get warm when under load, such as Photoshop but its specs weren't intended for Photoshop with multiple layers. I would confidently recommend the 'excellent condition' laptop to anyone else, but be careful which condition you select as it ranges from 'good' to 'excellent' - mine was 'excellent'. The order doesn't say which condition you got, just that it's refurbished so do be aware beforehand. For £269.99 at the time of purchase, it's an absolute steal! Weiterlesen

Auf den ersten Blick schien alles gut, allerdings musste ich schnell feststellen, dass sich der Laptop nicht laden lässt. Auch der optische Zustand des Geräts war, meines Erachtens nach, nicht hervorragend. Auf der Rückseite befanden sich Klebereste, vermutlich von Stickern, und das Display war dreckig.
