Let me preface by saying I’m 5’11” and 245lbs. I’m new to the kick scooter world and hopped on the craze due to, you guessed it, gas prices. I don’t necessarily live in a area that’s bike path friendly and the sidewalks are less than desirable. I have to commute through some uneven terrain for a bit before getting to those areas with dedicated paths so keep that in mind. I wanted something reliable, decently fast, and that could handle my weight. I originally purchased the f series from 9bot in hopes it would suffice but unfortunately that wasn’t the case. I needed something a bit more powerful and comfortable so I started looking at returning it. I ended up finding the NIU series and just happened to be at a time where there were good coupons available making it the same price as the 9bot. After extensive YouTubing and review reading I decided to make the jump. Set up was easy. The app is a bit more user friendly than “the-scooter-company-who-must-not-be-named”, and everything seems to connect with ease. One thing I liked about the other app was the social networking between other riders around the world. It was just neat being able to have access to that kind of feature. The build quality is superior and feels well built and solid. The attention to detail is excellent and even though there is no suspension, even on rocky terrain it feels sturdy. It’s more comfortable than the scooter I returned by about 25%. The wider tires have to account for some of this. It’s also nice to have a wide base and foot room, which the KQi3 Pro has. Wider handle bars also make for a comfortable and confident ride. As a bigger dude I’m always nervous I’m going to stall out on an incline which I did every time I rode the other scooter. The KQi3 Pro has a substantially more powerful motor and it shows. I’ve been able to climb some impressively steep inclines. Of course there is a bit of a slow down, but nonetheless I make it up just fine. I’m also impressed with its ability to maintain speed with my weight. It doesn’t seem to make any sort of difference. The range is another impressive point for the cost of this scooter. My weight had little effect on its ability to make it 18 miles on a full charge with many stops and decent inclines. The design is also a selling point. It has more personality than the others in this price range. The running light/head lamp is a very nice touch, giving it a sense of modernness and maturity. I purchased the black version and I really like it. However, I’m nervous about scratches occurring because powder coat tends to get scratched up easily, but we’ll see. I haven’t ran this thing through any puddles or rain yet, but it will inevitably happen at some point. Will update review if anything negative occurs. I purchased it Oct 2022. Used it for short rides once a month. Maintained the battery charged. 10 months later I get a code 30. Something about the battery. Now it won't turn on nor charge. I call their support and they tell me that I have to submit a warranty form and mail this thing to Texas. No local options. Find a box because it's not like I kept the original box and they don't provide one. This thing is heavy and awkward to box. And there is no guarantee that I won't get charged. So I am out 500.00 unless I want to pay out of pocket to take it to an independent scooter shop. So keep that in mind when you consider an NIU. Weiterlesen

Overall experience The ride quality is generally smooth, although you can feel a little bit annoying on rough patches on the road. But this is not a problem compared to the overall advantages of the scooter Performance and speed The range of the scooter is about 40km, which is impressive for daily commuting or leisure. Wir sind aufgrund diverser Testberichte und vielen Youtube-Videos im Internet auf den NIU Kqi3 Pro gestossen und müssen nach schon nach kurzer Benutzung sagen, dass ich angenehm überrascht bin. Die Medien konnten nicht geladen werden. Top fahrgefühl dank der Luftbereifung. Obwohl vorne eine Federung hätte nicht geschadet. Bei unebenen Strassen fehlt die Federung! Spürt man. Super Beschleunigung. App voll ok. Nur sieht man immer erst beim nächsten an machen die gefahrenen Km. Fuhr im nassen plötzlich hatte ich ein Quitschen bei der vorderen Bereifung siehe Video. Sollte nicht sein bei so einen Scooter in dem Preissegment! Schmierte das Lager vorsichtig mit einen Öl. Jetzt ist es zum Glück weg. Bremsen stellte ich etwas nach und funktioniert sehr gut. Wenn man die Rückgewinnung etwas stärker einstellt, braucht man fast nicht bremsen, nur etwas vom Gas gehen. Vom Stand auf dem breiten Brett bin ich begeistert. Weiterlesen

Vewertung für Kqi1 Pro Bis auf einmal ein Problem mit der App keine Probleme! Der Kundendienst war da wirklich sehr hilfreich. Mittlerweile die 200km Grenze mit dem Scooter gepackt, funktioniert wie am ersten Tag. Die Reichweite ist mit 20km angegeben, variiert allerdings zwischen 18 und 25km bei mir. Je nachdem welchen Fahrmodus man einstellt, ob Energierückgewinnung eingeschaltet ist, etc. Mit dem letzten Update per App wurde die Geschwindigkeit von 20 auf 22kmh max. erhöht. Steigt man von Nordamerika/Australien in die App ein sind wohl 25kmh möglich, aber in Europa ist das limitiert auf jetzt 22 km. Und ganz ehrlich, ein Sturz mit 22 kmh ist sicherlich auch schon schmerzhaft genug, schneller muss gar nicht sein. Der scooter fährt stabil, schluckt auch gröbere Unebenheiten und fasst dich Wertig an, kein billiger Plastikmüll! Über die App lässt sich der Scooter sperren, max. Geschwindigkeit einstellen, Fahrmodi variieren. Auch der Supportkontakt funktioniert bestens über die App. Die restliche Ladedauer wird auch über die App angezeigt. Das einzige was mich persönlich stört, ist die Ladedauer von fast 5 Stunden, da fehlen mir allerdings vergleichswerte ob das gut oder schlecht ist. Gewicht ist auch in Ordnung. FAZIT: Wer einen guten Scooter sucht für Kurzstrecken, Arbeit oder kleinere Besorgungen im Umkreis ist bei dem Scooter gut aufgehoben! Und wenn man nicht durch jede Pfütze fährt und jede Schotterpiste ausprobiert, sollte man lange seine Freude damit haben. Für kurze Fahrten zur Arbeit, Post, Bäcker etc lasse ich schon lange das Auto stehen und greife sehr gerne auf den Scooter zurück. Top! Weiterlesen

Ich war echt sehr überzeugt von der Marke NIU, der Qualität und der Optik. Bis vor ein paar Wochen plötzlich mein KQI 3 Pro beim Laden Probleme machte. Beim Anstecken machte das Ladegerät Geräusche. Zudem war die Verbindung zwischen Kabel und E Scooter leicht verschmort. Es war kein Laden mehr möglich. Nach langwieriger und wiederholter Kontaktaufnahme zum Hersteller, durfte ich meinen NIU zu einer Werkstatt in Deutschland einschicken. Es gab von NiU immer Updates per E-Mail, wie weit der Scooter ist. Irgendwann stand dann dort, dass der E- Scooter mit Originalteilen repariert und die neueste Software aufgespielt wurde. Dein Fahrzeug ist nun auf dem Rückweg zu dir. Als der KQI 3 Pro dann jedoch zurück kam, funktionierte das Laden immer noch nicht. Es wurde auch nichts ausgetauscht. Stecker und Anschluss waren immer noch die selben. Als ich mich dann per Mail beschwerte und fragte, was nun gemacht worden sei, wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass es sich um einen „wirtschaftlichen Totalschaden“ handelt und deshalb nicht repariert wurde. Angeblich sei es ein Wasserschaden, wobei mein Scooter immer bei mir drinnen stand und ich nicht mal bei Regen gefahren bin. Es wurde auch noch mal erwähnt, dass der Scooter ja nur gegen Spritzwasser geschützt ist und da bei mir anscheinend mehr Wasser hingekommen ist, ist meine Reparatur aus der Garantie ausgeschlossen… Ich bin wirklich sehr enttäuscht von der Marke und der Werkstatt. Ich hätte mir mehr Unterstützung von NiU für einen nichtmal 2 Jahre alten 600€ Scooter, der kaum genutzt wurde und immer im Trockenen geparkt und gefahren wurde gewünscht. Leider habe ich nicht die Möglichkeiten und Energie, dem Hersteller das Gegenteil zu beweisen. Somit habe ich keinen KQI 3 Pro mehr und werde mir auch keinen mehr kaufen. Werbung, die ich für die Marke bei Freunden gemacht habe, werde ich auch zurücknehmen und vor dem Hersteller warnen! Weiterlesen

Hace ya 4 meses que lo compré y lo uso a diario, ha sido una de las mejores ideas que he tenido en adquirir éste patinete. Estoy super contenta con el, es solido y robusto, las ruedas por ahora han soportado todo tipo de terrenos incluido terreno arenoso con piedras. Es muy sencillo de plegar, eso si, por el precio que tiene podría haber incluido algún tipo de maletín o bolsa para poder guardarlo. Su conexión es sencilla, la primera vez hay que enlazarlo con la app, y hacer un kilómetro en modo E-save que no pasa de 15km/h y luego ya podemos ponerlo en modo normal donde llega sin problema a los 25km/h. Los frenos en la app podemos decir qué intensidad tiene, ya que podemos configurarlo para que tenga menor o mayor impacto de frenada. Además la app nos indica los recorridos y la batería que nos queda y cuánto podremos abarcar. Tarda varias horas en cargarse, yo lo dejo puesto toda la noche pero no he comprobado exactamente cuantas horas son. El fabricante indica que la bateria llena nos dejará hacer 30km, pero no siempre es asi, todo depende de si tus paseos son con subidas o el peso que ha de llevar el patinete. El manillar es muy cómodo, igual que la base donde colocamos los pies, es antideslizante por lo tanto tiene buen agarre en los zapatos. La consola en sí es muy sencilla de usar y da toda la información necesaria y se ve perfectamente incluso a pleno sol. La luz delantera del patinete siempre está encendida, pero de noche podemos darle más luz todavía. También dispone de luz trasera y caballete. La verdad que estoy contentísima y nunca me ha dado problemas. Os lo recomiendo. Weiterlesen

Die Medien konnten nicht geladen werden. I have had my NIU scooter for just under three months now and I am absolutely in love! I live a busy & active life with full days, often needing to be multiple places in a short span of time - but I am also someone who lives with chronic pain who doesn't drive. Because of this, getting around especially when I'm in flare can be a strain needing to walk or bike everywhere, so I began researching the many electric scooter options out there wanting to get something that would improve upon my independence regardless of what my pain levels were. There are a lot of decent options out there if you're just looking for a little recreational ride - but I knew I wanted something sturdy, that I could rely on for longer rides and multiple times daily use without having to charge every day, which eliminated a lot of the other scooters I came across. Enter the NIU KQi3 Pro. With its larger deck, 32 km/h max speed, and ability to go up to 50 km on a single charge, it is very stable and efficient in getting me everywhere I need to go. Zipping around on the scooter is a blast, and because of this, it makes me want to go more places, which has delightfully opened my world back up. And with it's bright led light, and rear brake lights, it even feels good traveling at night. It's no small joy riding along the waterfront in this delightful summer weather - passing lines of traffic that would have otherwise had me stuck. With the distance, I am able to reach the furthest corners of the city and return on a single charge, and often check in to multiple spots in a day with battery still left. I haven't yet figured out a reliable way I trust to lock it up, so I usually bring it into stores etc. with me. With its weight sitting just below 43 lbs, some days that is easier than others - depending usually if I'm in flare - but even so it's never an immovable amount for me to carry, and it folds with ease to put into carts (if you're feeling ambitious and don't mind people giving you funny looks, which I don't) or vehicles to transport when need be. Even going up big hills this beaut handles surprisingly well. There is a noticeable drop in speed (which is to be expected) but if you approach a hill already moving you'll be fine. Everywhere I go with this I have people complimenting me on it, asking me about the brand and where I got it from, and I know many have taken to watching the sales on this for when they too can get their own as well. The only possible drawbacks I have noted from my own experience are these: 1. The size of the main body - great for stability, however there doesn't appear to be a lot of accessories made to fit this size currently, so planning out my accessories will take a little bit more work. I have been able to add a cell phone mount and mirror with the use of a handlebar extender, however no water bottle holder has been made to adapt for either the main body or handlebar extension so far, and third party storage bags that attach to the main body otherwise have mixed reviews. This is not a deal breaker as I typically travel with a backpack anyways, just a little disappointing for days I want to travel especially light. 2. Not having very secure options for locking it up. I've looked online at a few ways to work around this with electric scooters, but many of them rely on a small triangle cutout on the design of the frame which the KQi3 Pro just does not have. This does have an alarm/locking function, but I don't see that being as much of a deterrent as someone could just carry it off or throw it into the back of a vehicle anyways as it continued to beep. There are still things that can be done, but where I live, I don't know if that would be seen as a challenge for someone rather than a real barrier, so for now I am sticking to bringing it in with me wherever I go. 3. Occasionally the tension in my left break won't catch, although this only appears to happen at the beginning of my ride, and it does so inconsistently. Reading the manual it talks about ways to adjust the disk brake and I do intend on trying that, just a minor thing that occurs sometimes within the first block of travel - but also only when I'm first leaving my home? Other than these things, the scooter has honestly been amazing. It's given me time and joy back in traveling around my city, and I feel excited to do things that would have otherwise been a chore before, especially on higher pain days. Beyond even the things needed, I try to make a point of doing a recreational ride once a day also, even if I have only a few minutes, and with its speed, that sees me able to go far. Considering the price points on many of the other scooters which are not far off, and the higher capabilities of this one, I think the NIU KQi3 Pro is a great buy - especially if you can get it on sale!
